Come learn how to properly plant and care for trees in Green Drop’s hands-on demo—perfect for beginners and seasoned gardeners alike. Enjoy a free pizza lunch while you’re there, and enter for a chance to win a free 15-gallon tree in our raffle!

Stick around (or join us later) as we work together to clean up the neighbourhood and get our community looking its best for the season.

All ages are welcome, and all equipment is provided. Feel free to drop in anytime before 3:00 PM and participate in either or both portions of the day.

We had a great turn-out with over 40 people in attendance! We had lots of fun beautifying the neighbourhood by coming together and cleaning the area.

Monthly Saturday Meet-ups

From May-September 2025, the SVRA hosted monthly meet-ups on the second Saturday of each month to foster connections within our neighbourhood.

The Safety Committee & the University of Winnipeg put together a toolbox from the 4-year research project we did together. This event was to celebrate this accomplishment.
